The year was 1960. Now their fans think they are the pillar of college football.

That's 47 years ago. So how has the world changed for Missouri fans since then?

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were born...as was their mother.

Oklahoman Mickey Mantle was the highest paid player in baseball...at $75,000 a year.

Talks of going to the moon begin. Just talking about it.

OU wins four national titles, 3 Heisman Trophies and 20 conference titles.

Anything else?

Most of the parents of all the Missouri football players weren't even alive yet. Two entire generations of fail.

Missouri is at 11 wins.

This is our 15th time to have at least that many since 1960.

The United States has fought three wars...
Men wearing hats has gone out of style...
My dad and mom graduated from high school...
I was born...
The MU cheer: run, run, pass, punt came and went...

I can think of a lot more, but it's too painful....

GO TIGERS!!!

They played music on things called LPs, most households didn't have color TV, the personal computer had not been invented, the microwave wasn't available to most people, and gasoline was about 20 cents a gallon. And movie tickets were 50 cents or less. And no DVDs, no VCRs, and--horrors!--maybe one college game on TV per week!

Almost all of the soda makers have switched from pure cane sugar to HFCS, and thus Americans have become fat. Very fat. That is a fkn communist conspiracy right there.
