I am totally amazed that the Big Easy hasn't received any post season awards or significant recognition.

As far as the all-Big 12 team, only getting honorable mention behind Daniel, Reesing, and Harrell is expected, but disappointing since SAM led the damn nation in passing effiiency.

It is also laughable that Sam didn't receive the Offensive Freshman of the year or Newcomer of the year awards with these honors going to WR's. Last time I heard, it was a helluva lot more difficult to play QB than it was to catch the ball and run with it.

Don't despair SAM. You have got my vote for the BIG 12 MVP!!

Bradford is a fine young player and will one day if he stays healthy get at least to second team all Big 12 status. Unlikely to go higher with better passing teams in the big 12, but may well be a good NFL prospect one day.

Maclin on the other hand is a unique talent and a game breaker. A phenom!

Why? Cause he's fast or because he is actually a talented Missouri football player? I know this kind of stuff is new to you guys and he is a stud...but phenom is a bit premature, Sparky.

Most Yardage ever by a freshman player and all big 12. PHENOM!

If he'd have went to the Sunnis you would likely be whining because he wasn't up for the Heisman this year.

You know, I could rarely care less about those type of awards and we all know they most always go to the older players. To me it is nothing much to get worked up about, in a 12 team conference that is among the elite there are always going to be players that overlooked as it is just a function of the numbers. I would much prefer the team hardware over individual awards.

if he came to the sooners, he would be up for Heisman. i dont know if you remember a certain Freshman named Adrian Peterson who made the trip to NY his freshman year.

you can have maclin, there is no room for him in norman with Mr. Murray, Mr. Kelly and Mr. Calhoun coming in next year.

True. With our young skill positions, Maclin would be a benchwarmer at OU.

I think the Tigger fan is trying to say that after the Big 12 CCG and Mizzou's bowl game he will have the most which means he will gain about 400 yards in both games.

Right now, the Miszzsou "phenom" is averaging about a 100 rushing/receiving yards a game. :D

Hopefully Maclin can add a lot of yards on his kickoff return totals. I'd like to see OU give the kid about 10 chances.

He's using the old ReggieBushAllPurposeYards formula for calculating yardage. idiotic
