There are 5 minutes left in the game, we're up 35-24. We just stopped them and now ate up 3 minutes on the clock running the ball. Now punting on 4th and 1 with 4:30 left. We'll stop them here and go down and score.

You know, because they're giving us the game and all.

Wasn't it a 17 point lead with 10 seconds on the clock?

Just amazing how Chase knew how high and exactly where Auston's hand would be and how he threw it right at it for the tip-pick. I would venture that these guys actually used more skill giving us this game than just lining up and winning it.

Their D-line is phenomenal at using its athleticism to give up 3-5 yards per rush here for the game sealing touchdown.

Ron, we just scored to make it 41-24 (before failing the conversion) and there is 2:39 left.

yeh i noticed that too...did you also notice how they were playing very disciplined and making sure they made no push up field for a pass rush? not only are they dead sexy athletic but they must be the smartest defense in the big XII...

tigers....all seriousness....you guys are gonna get an asssload of running between the tackles saturday.

and another thing.....since you guys are dead asss last in the country in punting, do you think there may be a chance that we return a punt AND a KO on you? just making conversation. its going to be a big part of the game. specially since we are in the top 10 in the country or something in KO returns...

Ron, the "touchdown" that Mizzou scored to make it 31-41 was scored with 12 seconds on the clock.

Therefore, Mizzou is onside kicking with 12 seconds on the clock, with no timeouts, down 10.

Like Stoops said, "If that's giving us the game, we'll take it every time."

Heh. I hadn't noticed this when at the Mizzou game. Iglesias recovered the onside kick and stood the hell up and showed everyone the ball.

Must be our new policy post-Eugene.

I caught the last few minutes of this. Didn't they leave out Lofton's fumble recovery and run? Or did that happen earlier than I thought it did?

It's back on... 2nd half starting soon.

And we gave up a cheap field goal by going prevent late in the 2nd.
