SFW and will still give you the willies (http://www.myfoxcolorado.com/myfox/pages/Home/Detail;jsessionid=9C61E66B8EEC8D44178A2CF06DFBEF40 ?contentId=4935415&version=5&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=VSTY&pageId=1.1.1&sflg=1)

You know, in all my travelling, I've never seen glasses being brought to a room. Ugh.

Y'all already know not to lay on the bedspread, right?

You mean the area rug?

I think I'm gonna start taking rubber/plastic and extra sheets,Blankets/pillows, extra towels and dixie cups, a coffeemaker and a disinfectant in a bucket with some brushes.

Am I missing anything?

Oh yeah...the RV.

well, just take it off the bed. The maid's always had it off the bed when they do the turn down service.

I don't consider myself particularly germophobic, but I gotta tell ya, the maids drying the glasses with the dirty towel was just all kinds of disgusting. The next hotel guest drank butt cooties. Ew.

yeah, dirty towel is bad

of course, I don't use the glasses in the hotel, I only drink bottled water because of the places I am when I travel.

not the bugs in the water, it's the other chemicals/polution there. When I was in Shanghai, there were even signs on the sinks at the hotel (4 star one) that stated the water was not potable and to drink the provided bottled water. Similar incident when I was in Manila.

I'm more disappointed by the fact that so many people don't give a **** about doing a good job than I am by the germs. You're getting paid to clean the glasses, so clean the ****ing glasses.

Ain't that the truth, some people should never leave the house. I stopped by a fast food restaurant the other day at lunch, something quick. Some "family" comes in and the father sprays everything within 10 feet of where they are sitting with Lysol and proceeds to wipe everything down, he about choked everyone out of there with that spray. IF you are THAT much of a germophobe, then stay home.

sanantoniosooner

I wouldn't call myself a germophobe, but I can do without the fecal contamination in my drinking glass.

Sheesh

Does it come in Mountain Dew bottles?

Ash

That probably has more fecal matter plus rat parts than the tap water, nevermind.
