I'm a tired boey. We stopped setting up at 4am and we started finishing up at 7 this moaning. I slept in my pickem truck. I'm too danged wide and long to be doing that.

I thought this would be an awesome job to get on as it's 20 minutes from my hizzy and we are running our high-end tool. It has not started off in the right direction.

I also haven't figured out what hours I'll be working. There could possibly be 4 of us out here but myself and a gentleman from Pakistan are trainees on this tool. It sounds like I'll be working noon to midnight or midnight to noon. I'd rather work different hours but I hate when I'm the big bossman and my underlings complain about when they work so I'm not gonna complain.

I'll give you clowns a heads up so you'll know when to be online.

also, the fine people in the shop didn't send out all the correct parts and pieces to set this mofo up. We called a coordinator at 10pm telling him what we needed. I called the shop at 4am and the coordinator never called. The stuff showed up at 7am.

OMGOMGOMG - Our well planners are morons (not to be confused with Sooneron) they just guessed at the Lat and Long for the hole location. I gotta have that to determing magnetic dip angle, magnetic field, mag declination and some other important stuff. I had to sneak into the company man's trailer while he was out to breakfast to make a copy of the Corporation Commission's permit to drill. As I was leaving with my loot he pulled up. I gave him a big ole wave and just kept walking to my bossman's 16 foot 5th wheel travel trailer. He dent say anything to me.

Still no word on what hours your hero will be working.

Update: no word yet as to the hours I will be working

on a side note, I rode the bus(a 66 passenger bus thankyouverymuch) to school with the driller on this rig. I learned a great many things while riding that bus. God Bless bus numbers 6,15 and 16.

Oh man, I'm finally back at the house. It has been a long two days and it's nice to have on a clean pair of underwear and to have brushed my teeth.

Update: I will resume my normal schedule of 6am to 6pm. Yea for getting to watch the game with friends. A buddy's wife is hooking me up with a nurse! I'll give details on that Sunday morning.

the internet connection here is slow, my apologies.

Things are going great. Not having any problems. I brought the rig crew breakfast this am. I had nachos for lunch and just popped a bag of Act II Butter Lover's popcorn. I am washing it down with a can of Sunkist Cherry Limeade that I have been keeping cool with my Aggie Refridgerator (bed of truck).

ah heck, they're probably verticals. Even Mongo can interpolate/correlate those.

You guys need to step up to the plate and use LWD. Logging after you drill could show you that you're not in the best pay zones, with LWD you can find them and stay in them the entire lateral.
