who goes to the NC game? I'd assume, of course, that Ohio State would go, and then one of the two loss teams bunched up behind them would get the other slot. Who do you think it would be, and why?

Hopefully us. We would've just beaten the #1 team, you know

SC is ranked ahead of us. Would they get the nod or would we?

Georgia is #4. They would probably move up to #2. Kansas is 5th; LSU is 6th.

Pretty lame.

You don't think the voters would think twice about voting Georgia #2? We all know they didn't even win their own division - and look at what the voters did with Mighigan last year. Nobody wanted to see a OSU/Mich rematch, so Michigan took a beating in the polls, who's to say the voters wouldn't do that to Georgia?

If we beat the #1 team, and twice, that should help us. Just because we are 9th in a BCS ranking one week does not mean we can not possibly move all the way up to 2nd passing someone who is "ahead" of us. Each week is an independent rating from previous weeks.

I'm hoping they would. If LSU and OU win I think LSU would end up going provided that West Virginia loses.

Don't forget about VT. What if LSU loses too? Who would go between OU and VT?

I think OU should go over VT

But VT is prevailing over the school shooting from a year ago.

I could see someone trying to pull that card.

There is a slim and none chance that WV loses to Pitt.

Thanks for contributing nothing to the thread.

Notice that little qualifying word in the thread title? IF

And the way this season has gone, it is entirely possible that Pitt pulls out a win on Saturday.

If OU kills MU by 20+ points,

Pitt beats WVa (no way)

LSU loses SEC Champ game

USC loses to UCLA (could happen)

OU goes....maybe.

That'd be kinda cool, if all those things miraculously happened.

But, I dunno if I'd want the crystal trophy with a two-loss team.

It'd be kinda like claiming those national championships Bama and SUC list on their program guides.

I bet if we beat Texas Tech in Lubbock we'll go. That shouldn't be too hard unless something weird happens like Bradford gets knocked out of the game by his own OL.

Give it up. It will take more than some football games to get us in the BCSCG. Yes, we'll have to win, and somebdy will have to lose, and other teams will have to die in a shipwreck or something.
Don't even think about it; it's bad karma.
Just BEAT MISSOURI AGAIN, and love it.

I admit that I was wrong, but with a healthy QB, WV wins.
