To all those arguing against playoffs

Let's see if we can at least agree on some things. If we agree to the following and your whacked-out reason not to have a playoff violates one or more of them, then your whacked-out reason not to have a playoff is pointless.

I suggest we argue about the broader implications of not having a playoff, rather than some poster's half-baked personal agenda.

Here goes:
