Why the hell would you schedule a Miami game for MNF?

What in the world is wrong with Heinz Field? I mean, I know it's a little rainy, but don't they have some kind of drainage system there? Did you see that punt earlier that just died in the grass, without bouncing? Weird.

Or for your premier game in England?

English fans get all worked up for 0-0 "football" games all the time. :D

I think 3-0 is the lowest-scoring professional football game since the Pawtucket Med Hens beat the New Amsterdam Gas Lampers 3-2 back in Nineteen Ought Six.

It's kind of funny watching ESPiN try to fill the usual first 15 min of sportscenter with info on the "big game".

In Miami's case it's just plain offensive ineptitude. WTF is John Beck?

MNF now=SNF two years ago

It is now a lower tier game than even the 3:15 Sunday game. No one thought the Fins were going to be THAT bad this season.

Heinz Field has some of the worst grass in football, almost every game (Steelers or Pitt) I see there the field is bad. They just need to yank it out and put FieldTurf in like the Patriots did a couple of years ago. It amazes me how bad so many pro stadium fields are compared to most college stadium fields. You would think with the money involved in the game they would have fields better than college stadiums.

BEST DAMN GAME IN A LONG TIME!!!!!!!!!!! 8-3 AND FLYING UNDER THE RADAR; I LIKE IT!!!!!!!!

Turf conditions played a major role but the defense was there and that is what made the game exciting. So what if Miami is winless and Steelers won 3-0. It's a win and you go on.

Lowest scoring BCS Title game was.....2001 Orange Bowl when OU won 13-2.

There were no weather issues with the turf but recently a Miami Dolphin game was played there as well as the MicronPC Bowl. The field was already in crap shape and the game ended with 15 points combined. There was a lot of defense but you could also blame the turf conditions as well.

ESPN talking heads calling it unfair and dangerous to the players and uncompetitive due to the conditions.

Don't know about the first part, but the second part sounds about right. Although, how can you tell if it's the conditions or just the Dolphins that are non-competitive? :D

The field had less to do with that score than what is widely considered one of the best college defenses in history.
