View Full Version : HMMMPH! 10 minutes and out in the cold
The game in Boulder was 5 minutes too long and the game in Lubbock was 5 minutes too short. The line to a MNC is very fine - it's not comforting that many others have similar lamentations.
That said, at the end of the day, we have to be very happy at 10-2 with a frosh at QB. Clearly, we haven't consistently demonstrated a MNC caliber defense.

Exactly what I have been thinking, we have a FRESHMAN QB. No Freshman QB led team has made it to the national championship, 10-2 is a great record.

11-2 would be even better.

Ten points is all that kept us from being unbeaten. The same could be said of Mizzou...and just who did that to them?
Oh, yeah, I remember...THEY gave it away.

After the OSU game I believe that this team (Sooners) has come together and I believe that Missouri will go down on Saturday!

I agree that I think the lads finally got a bit aggro last weekend. Good to see. Hope they play with anger again this weekend.
Oh, yes:

Two fumbles.....a fumbled punt on the five yard line in Boulder, and a fumble that results in Sam getting his bell rung in Lubbock....two fumbles possibly is what it boils down to keeping us from being the undisputed #1 team in the nation going into the conference championship game.....
DON'T FUMBLE THE BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I recall some post about one of our fans changing his gameday routine.
It's the real reason we lost.

I hear Florida coughing Tim Tebow :D
(and you can cough back that they had a senior qb, but most of them have already forgotten his name)
Stoops made a mistake in Colorado, letting the clock run out when they had timeouts. But, he's not a god... just a human and a coach.
There were some botched throws at the end of the Tech game by Hazle, but hey, he's not even the starter... just a human and a backup QB.
So yeah, there are always the what if's, because we all know they had chances to win the games OU lost. Alas, that's football, especially this year.
I hope that two teams go that haven't won it before (Mizz and UWV would be cool, but that would probably mean us losing next week. D'oh!). That would be a nice capper.
