Of all of them, Carol of the Bells is actually my all time favorite.

You have you have really strong hands to be able to play those bells.

Which is why I voted it as being one of my favorites.

I'm in one of my moods tonight. I can't help it.

i like Elvis' semi-creepy Blue Christmas--the backing female vocals are David Lynchesque.

James Brown Christmas LP has some classic R&B Christmas throwaways from the Godfather.

I like just about all Christmas music. I seem to be in a minority but my two favorites are "Wonderful Christmastime" from Paul McCartney and "Happy Christmas" from John Lennon. I know a bunhc of people who can't stand those.

It's hard for me to narrow down, though, since I like about all Christmas songs. I'm listening to Sirius channel 2 Christmas music right now and probably will until the end of the year.

We listent to the christmas channel from Thanksgiving til they stop playing it. Kids love it and it seems to calm them down a bit too which I like.

Bing Crosby-David Bowie version of O holy night is pretty darn good too.

It's official: I'm already tired of Christmas music. I can normall hold out at least until December, but it's gone to hell for me already.

To begin with, Marley was dead.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
O Holy Night
The Christmas Song, but only by Mel Torme
Holly Jolly Christmas, but only by Burl Ives
Silent Night
O Come, O Come Emmanuel

My favorite music is my moms' Reader's Digest record collection from 1970 or so. It's got everything from the Messiah to I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.

Dead as a doornail...

I hate Christmas music, but love Christmas plays. A Christmas Carol is my all-time favorite play. I'm going to be checking out the Sooner Theater's production of "Scrooge" and probably the OCU's production of A Christmas Carol, and maybe the "Bob Marley's Christmas Carol" in OKC.

Oh yeah, I hate The Nutcracker like a big bitch.

Will I get in trouble if I say the Christmas Carol is the most contrived, over the top Christmas production going?

Will I get in trouble if I write Christmas like Xmas?

lololol...

Actually... I take the kids every year to see the Christmas Carol on stage at the Dallas Theater Center... even in their teen age years.. they still enjoy it.

As for the Xmas thing.. I believe the persons who type or write Xmas should be boiled in their own pudding and thereby decrease the surplus population! :D

I enjoy seeing the The Nutcracker performed by the Russian ballet at the Majestic Theater in downtown Dallas. It's always been a magical time for me.

Our church does a kids' Christmas pageant every year. My daughter and the other 4s and 5s will be singing "Away in a Manger" this year. She is thrilled that she gets to be a sheep in the manger.:D My son is WiseMan #2, so if anyone wants to see acting at its finest, come on to Scottsdale next week!

Oh, I forgot one: "For Unto Us a Child is Born" from the Messiah.
