Let me save Leroy Lizard some time here...

I tell you what... when Barry writes a letter to my boss telling him to give me a raise, I will campaign for him to win the Greatest College Football Coach of All time Award.

That's because their teams are done for year and don't have much else to look forward to until next year.

Plus most of them are probably unemployed anyway or waiting for their welfare checks.

If Tom Osborne is the greatest coach in college football history, what was his record against Barry Switzer? I beleive Switzer was 12-5 against Dr. Tom so if anyone is going to make the argument that Osborne is the greatest, they need to look at the record books.

Switzer was also 2-0 vs. Bobby Bowden, 1-0 vs. Woody Hayes, and 1-0 vs. Joe Paterno.

He's the only guy on that list with that kind of record. I'll give it up to Bear Bryant and Knute Rockne but other than that, there isnt anyone else. Eddie Robinson coached almost 60 years so if this is for longevity, he wins it.

Tom Osborne leading at 41% is a joke. I'm mean, I actually broke out in a grin when I first saw that. He owes most of his success to Barry Switzer leaving the game.

Oklahoma will probably never win a poll like that...

especially when in years to come we'll have 3 Coaches in the poll.

Bud, Barry and Bob
