on or above this step. You can lose your balance.

I'm done hanging christmas lights this year.
By the way, did you know "seeing stars" is not just a figure of speech?

Ouch.

Hopefully you had a few beers before you fell to numb the pain.

Fortunately, my fall was broken by the ladder. I only suffered some bruising on my back and a scraped up hand.

And, no, I haven't had a drop today.

Did anybody see you fall? My wife would have laughed if she saw me fall off of anything

that's always the first thing I check (if I'm not hurt). Look around to see if anybody is watching. :)

Wife and youngest daughter were in the kitchen:
Wife: What was the bang?
Daughter: Dad probably fell.
Wife (looking out window): OMG. He did!
Daughter: Ha! What do I win?

None of the neighbors saw me.

1960 isn't always unsafe. See here, he was well below the top step and had his safety glasses on.

When my wife and daughter finally got outside to see if I was OK, I told her I probably wouldn't miss more than six weeks of work.

Thanks for the offer, but last time checked, I got about 10 months of sick leave.

What's kinda sad is that once I determined I was gonna be ok, the next thought was; I gotta get a picture of this so I can post it.

The one I wasn't supposed to be on.

Yikes. Reminds me of last year when I fell backyards out of my deer stand. This was about a week after I pinched my sciatic nerve and so I was loaded on Lortabs. Got back up and laughed it off. Broke the wooden handguards on my rifle, though.

I've tumbled a few times off 6' ladders.

None of them are fun, but some linger longer than others.

I fell down a flight of stairs once. Fell right dab on my azz and broke my tailbone.... and yes I did see stars.... that is before I passed out.

well, it could be worse, it could have collapsed because you're over the designated ladder weight limit

I'll have to go check. We could have two causes to this accident.

I am not a huge fan of the "as seen on tv" crap, but there are exceptions to every rule. I was given a lil giant ladder and it has been fantastic.

I have made some serious attempts, but I haven't been able to fall off of this one yet :)

Love my Little Giant.

Gots loads of pics like the ladder in the pool shot...Most are from Asia, I guess the Eastern philosophy allows for multiple redos in life...

Look on the bright side, now you get to go buy yourself a brand new ladder. Go fiberglass this time.

not a $39 fiberglass either.

Look at the weight limits and buy one accordingly.
