View Full Version : Predicted Point Spread vs. Mizzou

I'm guessing we will be in between 4 and 6 point favorites. For those of you who don't understand point spreads, it doesn't matter that Mizzou is ranked higher than us. It just matters how the betting public perceives the game. OU and USC are the most heavily bet on teams. We'll find out soon enough.

Before the loss to Tech, I thought we'd be a 4.5 favorite in that game. I was certain Ou would beat KU, and I'm surprised it wasn't worse.

I think now, with the whole nation watching us lose to tech and MU beat KU on back to back saturday night ABC games, we'll be a 1.5 to 3 point favorite. If MU opens up favored, I'd jump all over it early.

My guess is that we will be +2.5-+4.5 dogs.

pick 'em. too close to call. had we beat tech, i would've guessed a TD favorite for us. after tech and last night, i see it pretty even, IMO.

Hell I'm down 550 because of Tech, I hope Mizzou is favored, I'm playing catch up!!!

I think Mizzou will be a slight favorite, mainly because of the perception that Mizzou gave away the game in Norman instead of OU winning it; hell the media was already talking about that last night.

The folks with money to wager won't be swayed too much by the drivel coming from the talking heads. I think that most knowledgeable peeps realize that was a pretty solid 17 point win for OU (remember the last Mizzu TD was fail).

I just saw a line out of Vegas and it lists Oklahoma as a three point favorite.
