Were OK, Patrick seems to play harder knowing he's the man.

Go Patrick, Go Brown.

Rip the Alamo Turf up and get us another Trophy.

Can you imagine just how good Murray will be as the full time starter next season? Gives me chills.

I wish him luck. I had the same injury and finally had surgery when it deteriorated to the point the patella would slide to the side of the knee three times going up a flight of stairs. The surgery never really helped a lot but I assume there have been great strides made since 1972. It's a simple injury so it seems they should have it figured out by now.

From NewsOK (http://newsok.com/article/3173302/1195956811):

"We are anticipating him to have surgery sometime here next week, just to tighten up — I’m not going to get into explaining it all," Stoops said. "It's something that generally, guys come off of it just fine. It's just going to take a little time."

Stoops confirmed he had surgery on his knee & is done for the year. If Patrick keeps up the pace, no worries. I would rather have a healthy Murray/Brown combo for next season.

Why can't college athletes just age gracefully instead of having things tightened up every few years?

No need to mess with the 4.4 flat speed - tighten up???? I wonder if something is torn?

Hope he gets well and is healthy going into spring - I hate fluke injuries

This sucks! I think we'll be okay for the rest of the year with our great backs, but damn...I'm in Vegas and always pull for my Vegas Sooners, particularly Demarco.

I just hope it goes well and he comes back next year stronger than ever.

Knees are weird. I did a total tear on my ACL and 80% on my MCL skiing three years ago (I'm 46 and skiied for 35 years injury free and then....). I rehabbed it and have more straight-line strength in it than I did at 20. I don't trust it going sideways, though.
I sure hope the OU trainers and med staff can get him 'back'. Keep him off the field until it is well and truly 100%....or we risk him getting 'early retirement'.
