If we go 3 and out here. We're going to be very, very lucky to win this one. We've gone into slow-motion in the 2nd half and KW has become predictable. run/stuff, run/stuff, pass--turnover. 2 straight series that just flat sucked. We need something good to happen on this series. Arrrrgh another 3rd down and long. Whew. nice 1st down. maybe that'll wake them up.

Only reason they stopped us in the first series was because we took a shot on a deep throw on third and short. That's not exactly predictable. If we would have stayed "predictable" that drive would have continued....

Very nice move again by AP to sidestep away from being stuffed and find the hole. I thought sure we'd pass the ball and we just bucked it up and ran it in. Very nice. The question of whether or not to play Halzle is answered, but now the question is do you keep running the real deal offense to let him get practice? I say yes because it's obvious from last week that we need to give these backups some meaningful play, but we'll probably try to run the time out knowing Stoops, which is probably the smart philosophy

I can understand a call by the replay official, that there was not enough video evidence to overturn the on the field call, but if Fox is sending them the same feeds that we see, I can't see them making the call that there was video evidence confirming and incomplete pass. Just didn't see it myself, but perhaps they had another feed. Things like that make me scratch my head about replay.

For the most part I think they are only relaying what the Replay Official says. That may have been his words. For some reason FSN didn't want to show other replays, you know they had more than two angles of that play. Instead they were more interested in showing the replay booth, that is the fault of the production.

I read an article by Bohls yesterday, that said the better graded crews get the Big 12 games in November and that Big 12 replay officials were hesitant to reverse on the field calls, which I don't understand. I don't know if replay-reversals grade-down the on-the-field officials rating, but it shouldn't, and if it does this may be part of the replay problem.
