Prayers do get answered...but mainly glad he's healthy. And again - proud of Halzle for stepping up last Saturday in very tough circumstances and hope he gets the chance for more game time once we're up by 50 points or so in the first half. :D

Happy Thanksgiving, all!

Glad he's ok and hopefully Austin, Demarco, and the rest recover soon too. Concussions are common but can also be a dangerous thing.

Now its time to crush the pokes and get sammy his TD record. :pop:

Glad he's okay... but you have to wonder how he'll do from now on. He seems to have always stood tall in the pocket, comfortable... but now you have to think he'll be a little more likely to panic having been through this. Hopefully he's smarter, and not more nervous.

Eh, maybe he won't make a touchdown saving tackle. Especially if Duke is coming charging after the guy too. ;)

In all seriousness, glad he's ok too. Hopefully this isn't like "Colt is ok to play A&M" last year when he obviously wasn't.

Kinda what I was thinking when I read that post ;)

Does anyone agree with me that it's creepy how this team is mirroring Texas 2006?

Hopefully we already paid OUr dues by losing to the aggies and a road game to choke off the South in 2001. :(

... and 2002.

This is a different type of injury to a degree, don't jump me yet. Colt did have shoulder issue's to boot, Sam does not. I don't think he'll be any more nervous in the pocket, his concussion wasn't do to a blindside or sack. I agree with Trumpet above, his tackling career needs to be over!

Stoops took him out when our title chances were on the line, and we lost. A lot of coaches might have forced him to play, dazed or not.

This is better news than I could have hoped for. Was convincing myself that it would be sweet to beat OSU with our backup. I am not so sure we couldn't but this is way better on so many levels. Take care and God's speed SB.:D
