I am.

Bad week.

Last year at this time I pinched a nerve in my back. The pain that followed for the next 6 weeks was unreal and about the worst I've ever been through.

This week was emotional pain. I'd go through last year 100 times over before I'd go through this week again. Lesson: emotional pain > physical pain.

But it's time to move on. Or, at least, try to. I just don't seem to have anything to look forward to. A beating of osuck would help, but I can't even think about football.

Being without hope is the worst. I wish you'd find something to hope for.

my wife is baking a pumpkin pie as I type.

speaking of smells :texan:
Fried turkey sure tastes great, but I love the smell of a turkey roasting in the oven on Thanksgiving.

I can not believe how much I like Sam Adams Octoberfest beer. This stuff is so smooth that I have 3-4 beers down before I know it.

people will tell you all the games on TV doesn't make a difference. our fans are frontrunner/bandwagon/Bob Stoops-Sherri Coale-Mike Stoops-Barry should be coaching them not the "Coach of the Sooners", Jeff Caple....and they are

but, also you don't think the difference between 10,000 and 6,000 can't be accounted for by all the games being on TV in the OKC market. 4000 TV's aint squat in a market share/rating perspective.

it's tough to go to weekday game when you are getting off work, the game is on TV, and you gotta be at work tomorrow.

no REAL excuse, but people need a break sometime. if the game wasn't on TV, more people would be there. this why the students are the "difference". students are visual tech entertained, being there actually means less to them.

people complain we don't have an on-campus arena. students would rather watch on TV than walk a mile.

no parking is not the solution. if you are going to a single place with 10,000 or 80,000 other people in a concentrated area.....don't expect to be teleported out of it. and DON'T expect the people who live NEAR there 365 days a year to feel your pain.

until the University demolishes their neighborhood for some pic-nic benches that people use about 6 times a year.
