I really like this team. It's pretty clear we're a very good point guard from being a really special team.

Newbomb Turk

This team has some potential. I think we're better at the point than last year. I think our biggest weakness is outside shooting.

L2 with a bucket.

5:55I agree but to me, part of being an above average PG is being a 40%ish 3 point shooter. Forcing the defense to pressure the point way outside clearing space for movement.

Jeez this game is getting sloppy. How many turnovers can we have in one half? Part of not having much of a point.

Newbomb Turk
11/21/2007, 08:43 PM
oh no, we suck again...

AJ makes one of two from the line.

Sort of a mad scramble for 10 seconds after the 2nd AJ miss from the line.
Clark misses a 3 at the buzzer.

not even an audio link at OUInsiders. this is gonna be tough out of state this year. i won't pay for Ozone again, the feed sucks. they tried to dork me for an extra month. out of principle. maybe i'll have to dig out the old Panasonic "ghetto blaster" that gets KOMA at night high across the dark spectrum of the southwestern night.

It's too bad Clark missed last year. He was playing well when his knee blew out then.

Umm, this feels like the Baylor game in football would be my reaction to watching it. We were turning the ball over with ease in the first half.

I will second the suckitude of O-Zone. They need to SERIOUSLY up their bandwidth to make that something I'm gonna pay for again.

what about the camera angle behind the baskets? do the kids who towel up the sweat on the floor hold the up the VHS camera's for that or what? at any given time, 3 of the 10 players on the floor are right or left of that camera's range. that has to be a coaching camera. it's like an optical illusion, you have no idea what's going on. unless you are not following the ball, and watching guys try and put a butt on each other for position.

that best part about O-Zone was canceling my sub....and having about a week to watch all the football games from 02 to 05. which i did (well, not all of them).

Frozen Sooner

Considering I never saw that angle, I wasn't worried about it. My main experience with O Zone was:

Frozen frame of someone dribbling at half-court.
Frozen frame of someone under the basket.
Frozen frame of the other team's point guard with the ball.

etc etc.

And it's not like listening to BBS was clearing up what the hell was going on.

they say you have to use Internet Exlporer to get O-Zone and that was the problem. maybe. it's equally and altogether suspicious to me that 1. if Joe C is such a AD God how he let that piece of **** ever happen. 2. that they changed the name this year, and didn't refund my money seems to be mutual PR admission that it sucked out loud (sounds like an admission of ****up to me....and a re-marketing scheme) and 3. i have a CU ethernet connection that kicks ***, since i live in an apartment owned and wired by CU.....and O-Zone sucked.

i appreciate the effort and other schools may not have that option....but, out of state or not, i ain't spending money to get crap. it could be 1$ or 100$, i don't care. it's the principle.

Frozen Sooner
11/22/2007, 03:51 AM
Well, it worked in Firefox, but not well. I'd always open O-Zone in Explorer.

And yeah, I've got a pretty healthy connection. 1mbps should be ample bandwidth for that lo-res of a picture and a mono soundtrack.

BBSr: "great block by Aaron McGhee!....Sooners have the ball....Ere for 3.....shot off the heel of the rim no good. (long pause, crowd noise)...and a layup at the other end...for the Jayhawks".

Frozen frame of someone under the basket.

Touchdown Nolan Jackson!

Frozen frame of the other team's point guard with the ball.

TJ Ford moves across the time line, throws a pass to TJ Ford, he shoots....SWISH, he knocks it down....

TJ Ford inbounds for the Sooners holding on to a 1 point lead....

etc etc.
