However, later in October, Thomas told Sooners Illustrated he was leaning toward the Sooners.

“About the only thing holding me back,” he said, “is telling the Ole Miss coaches.”

That should tell you right there he's a lock.

That was the same thing that I was thinking. The article was dated the 22nd of this month. Weird. I wish that they would get their facts right. I am also ingtam1, forgot my password while out of town.

Are you talking about having him play QB?

If so then that would be like recruiting Austin Box for QB.

No I thought that we were recruiting him for safety. In the article he says that he wants to play running back in the big 12. I wonder how that is going to pan out. He might go to K-state. We have Murray, Brown, Madu and Calhoun coming, so that is a lot of depth at the RB position. Where would he fit in? That is what I was trying to figure out.
