Some of the similarities are spooky:

Freshman QB who plays much better than expected--has great stats.

Beat main rival (UT/OU)

Stud freshman QB gets hurt late in year

UT drops last 2 games to a team they shouldn't lose to and their in-state rival, which allows their rival to go on to the Big XII championship game.

OU drops game late in year to a team they shouldn't lose to, and if lose to their in-state rival would allow UT to go to the Big XII championship.

I sure hope the similarities stop, and we beat OSU and move on to San Antonio.

Yep, very similiar! It'll be confirmed on Saturday if they choose to play Sammie B. Every kid wants to play and will tell coaches and trainers that they are ready to go, but coaches and trainers should know better and sit the kid out.

Colt wasn't ready to play against aggies last year, but they let him play instead of his backup and they carried him off in a stretcher before the end of the game.

Here's hoping OU coaches and trainers are smarter than UT's.

Or he could be totally fine, play, not get re-injured and win the game. Let's no go making Bob just like Mack yet...

With concussions, aren't there test they can run to make sure he's functioning as close to as before as possible. A stinger is a little different I would imagine.
