my lady and i were laughing last night at all the advertisements - kohl's is opening their doors at 4AM. that 0400 for you military types.

I've gone a few times. I imagine myself as some sort of refugee trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. Since the stores are usually wrecked from the throngs of humanity passing through them, it tends to be a fairly vivid simulation.

The friends of mine who have had the misfortune of going to the mall with me anytime during the holiday season are treated to the now-traditional "This is why I hate the ****ing mall with every fiber of my being" rant. I manage to take shots at kids, old people, women, just about everything. I didn't realize it was that popular until one of my friends said "I've got to go with you the one time you go to the mall during December so I can hear that rant again."

So no, no Black Friday for me if I can help it.

I never have but I have some sort of morbid curiosity so I think me and Mrs are going to take the adventure this year.

However, no, I will not be at Kohl's at 4am. I don't know of anything I want at Kohl's during regular hours.

My wife works at BBB and is having to go in Friday at 5:00 because of these a**hats. :mad:

My wife got a seasonal job with the Bombay Company last year and had to work from midnight to 8am the night of Thanksgiving (black Friday morning). She said it was insane how many people showed up in the middle of the night. Apparently not enough since Bombay Company is shutting down.
