Alright children, the final tailgate of the year is nigh upon us. In response to several requests, the menu will be chili (various varieties), sausages, and dogs.

This tailgate will also feature the drawing/winning of the Ruf/Nek shotguns.

Festivities will commence promptly at 11ish to 11:30ish.

Bring stuff that goes along with chili.

I've gone to several ****** games and always had a blast. If I were an OU fan (solely) and could only attend one home game a year then the OSU game would be it. There's a different kind of electricity in the stadium for that game.

Hmmm...I am home for Thanksgiving break until Sunday. If I didn't have so much to do then I'd try to make another ****** game. I definitely want to go to another one soon though.

By the way, for anyone who has never gone to one of these, Dean puts on one hell of a tailgate. It's definitely something you shouldn't miss.

Don't worry. You need not be present to win...although you do need to be present to make sure we don't throw your name back if you win and draw over.;)

I will be bringing desserts. There will be multiple pies and possibly also some carrot cake or other baked goods. I'm not sure yet what I'll bring--basically anything my mom and I feel like baking on Friday.

I'm also bringing my parents to the tailgate :D

I should be there by 1100. I hope to orchestrate the drawing around noon. Give or take. That'll give the winners plenty of time to secure their prizes before the kick.

75 entrants. 2 shotguns, and some lovely prizes for runners-up provided by Jauxie.;)

Thems better odds than the Okie lottery!

Many thanks to all the folks who sponsored, parked, and helped out with set-up/tear-down this year. We couldn't do it without you. A very special thanks to Jaux, who is the most generous person I know. You rock Jim.

And somebody tell me who helped tear down this past weekend, cause I was drunker than 14 sailors at a Marine Corps ball. When we started cleaning up the RV Sunday morning, I realized we went through a full bottle of Crown, a full bottle of Tullamore Dew, a full bottle of Bushmill's, a half a bottle of Patron, a full bottle of Blackberry Brandy, and enough beer to float a battleship.

You people are a bad influence on me.

Also, thanks to Homey and PG for doing the drawing, and thanks to Stu is the Man. You are a man of your word Stuart. I respect that.

I didn't get to go on Saturday, but my dad and sister were there. Thanks to everyone for all you do. My dad truly enjoys the tailgates and he doesn't even own a computer, much less know how to post on a message board. But he loves it that a bunch of us from all over the place get together on Saturdays in the fall over good food and some great football.

Dean-will there be a tailgate in San Antonio for the Big 12?

I've been told it was funny watching me do a whole bunch of stuff after the game. About the only thing I remember is rus picking up his shotgun and us going to Chelino's after the game. I think I ordered a chili relleno, but I could be wrong.
