Defense. As strange as it sounds for a Mike Leach team the Tech defense won the game for them. The OU defense made some plays when they had to to get some stops. That may be because the Tech offense shut it down, I don't know. But whatever the case may be the OU defense gave the offense a chance. However, the Tech defense held OU to 2 field goals and 1 td in 5 red zone trips. The 2 stops they made in the final 6 minutes when OU had it inside the 10 impressed me. Granted Halze had a couple of open receivers that he missed. But OU had their chances, despite how bad they played in the first 3 quarters, and despite the injuries. That is all you can ask for. Hats off the the Red Raiders, unlike OU's last trip to Lubbock, they earned the win yesterday and weren't given it.
