JH, you got thrown into just about as tough a spot as there is. But by the fourth quarter, you were hitting your stride. We just ran out of time.

You did great.

P.S. It was a catch. We all know it.

We owned the 4th qtr.

Joey came on strong.

If nothing else, it should give us a lot more hope for next year too since Joey now has been tested and has game experience in a play-from-behind situation. Kinda like the old days with the Miami Dolphins when Earl Morrall would come in and spell Bob Griese, but I digress. You will be fine, Joey!

If Joey gets the nod this week, he will be better than he was last night. A full week of working with the 1st team will help him get his timing and rapport down with recievers, which seemed to be completely off until the 4th qtr last night.

That's saying a lot because he ended up pretty awesome last night.

Joey deserves a lot of love here. He ended up having a terrific game after the slow start. I'm still not too worried about next week, whether we have Sam or Joey.

When stoops said that it was a close race, I saw in the 4th quarter what he was talking about. Plus, on the incompletion to Mk on the goal line I saw joey show some fire iin rushing towards the refs.

I feel good about our backup QB situation. We can win with Halzle.

I saw on tv where Joey had 211 yards passing in the second half BEFORE the bomb down inside the 10....anyone know the final stats on Halzle's performance?

And I too must add that Joey can be proud of how he came on, with so little game experience up to this point.

Yep. And I agree with Oldnslo, too.
One more quarter and we'd have had 'em! :D

I'm gonna go ahead and give the D credit for the way they played in the second half as well. Kept Tech out of the endzone after their first possession and allowed OU to get the ball back many times in the 4th.
