Is he really #3 after Halzle? I saw him a little at the Spring game and the little in one of the warm up games but that's it.

I see him in class and on campus. He wears the same black UnderArmour ball cap every damned day.

They showed him yesterday in pregame standing next to Bradford as he was warming up.

Nichol and Halzle both came in for a couple of series against...Utah State I think? Halzle definitely looked better.

Nichol would have been just as rusty as Halzle; so that bit of 2d-guessing is silly. Halzle played well after he got some more snaps.

Saw both Nichol and Halzle in the spring scrimmages and thought Nichol looked better, great downfield arm. However, in the one game they both played in Nichol looked jittery and off target, and admitted postgame that he was very nervous. Can't blame the coaches for feeling he was not ready to run into the charged and hostile environment at Tech. Seems like a case of weighing the odds, and going with what seemed the highest percentage option.

The more snaps Halzle got the better we were. Anyways, I think we could have won if stoops would have ran the ball in the red zone instead of throwing the damn thing.

Oh well....

If they brought Nichol in and he did nothing, just think how bad the second guessing would have been on here; the more i saw of Halzle the more i thought it was the right decision

I know they were keying off of the run but you could tell Chris Brown was chomping at the bit to ram it in there. I hope Demarco is good to go for the Aggots, but I don't think he will be.

I think we'll play without Sam, Alan Davis, and Demarco. Of course Adron is out for the season. But English should be back and maybe with a week Joey can get more on target. Also the Secondary. Man, not sure why we get lit up sometimes.

BTW - I have seen Nichol play. He's without question a better QB than Halzle and that's saying something.

If I had to compair Nichol's game to another top college QB it would be Tebow. Nichol isn't as big but he's a runner and his passes are lasers, easily the stongest arm of the three QB's.
