It wastn' completely ba, it was worth seeing. I don't like seeing Denzel play the good guy since he always plays the self righteous character in so many movies. It's more fun to watch him play the self righteous bad guy. Him getting crushed in training day was greatness.

saw it today...not bad...it was really long though. almost 3 hours

there's a good film there somewhere, but it was kinda hard to really care much as incomplete most of the character sketches were....and the general cop/crime cliches were pretty rehearsed. the down on his luck cop who is more ethical than the corrupt system, looks like a loser but becomes a winner angle has been done a million times.
