Cusack's character, John Falzone and his buddies would make prop bets, ridicule, and even give nicknames to fellow air traffic controllers that were traumatized and couldn't mentally hack it at work. Then, in an ironic twist of fate, John Falzone wigs out and freezes up twice. When he returns for his last chance as stares at his headset, he has a harsh, all of the sudden clear suspicion.
"WHAT'S MY NAME?" Falzone says
"WHAT'S MY NAME?" Falzone repeats even louder as he just realized his co-workers must have assigned him a nickname, just as they always do when someone cracks.
"No Fly Zone...." a co-worker hesitantly responds.
"No Fly Zone", Falzone nods his head and silently realizes that he has somehow become what he previously has mocked.
