First of all, the number of top-ranked teams getting knocked off is amazing.
Second, the resemblance of this year's Sooner team to last year's UT team is also beyond bizarre. All we need now is to lose to OSU, have UT win the CCG, and lose to Hawaii to complete a series of coincidences that would rival anything I can remember. Anyone care to list the coincidences?
Finally, the resemblance of this game to the Oregon/Arizona game is also very eery.
The sportswriters will have a field day with this weekend.
Overall, though, the game was exciting and Tech deserves a lot of credit for pulling off the victory. I am proud of our team, though. They hung in there and almost pulled it off.
I just hope that Sooner fans post here with some semblance of maturity. I can't stand crybabies. Just a game.
