Drive a little South and West and you'll come to Brownfield, TX and I think you will revise your statement.

I've been to Lubbock, Waco and Stoolwater...

It's a fine line to which is worse....

Stoolwater is my least favorite, Waco and then Lubbock.

BTW...as an Honorable Mention since we played in the Independence Bowl in 1999....

Shreveport is my #4.

Heh. I was going to say the same thing.

Personally I think Lawton is the arm pit of America.

I'm originally from Lawton. Lawton is not even close to the arm pit of Oklahoma. It is more like a sweaty plumbers crack.

I always thought it was Monroe, LA. The entire town is in a bayou and smells like **** and skunks. If you end up going to the Sugar bowl for whatever reason, stay out of there.

Hmmm. As a transplanted Okie who grew up in three towns all around Lubbock and has travelled the world, I would tend to agree with the caveat of a population greater than 200K. You go in the 100K - 200K range and there are a of candidates.

My freshman year at Tech, Playboy ranked TTU #2 in the nation for quality of coeds. Driving around campus today, I was glad to see that at least that hasn't changed.
