Well...

Woke up this morning 5:30 am and couldn't walk on one foot.

Pain level is a 10 out of 10 with 10 being...please kill me.

Wife and Kids take to to the Hospital ER at 6 am...

I now have anti-inflammatories, painkillers, crutches and a really nice canvas/velcro shoe.

The ole foot is propped up and taking a shower was an absolute joy

Anyway...if you see some really weird posts from me today...please don't bane me.

I hope we kill the sand aggies or I might be back to the ER tonight. ;)

Boomer Sooner all!

It's not gout...

It's a sprain and I also have some inflammation in the joints of the 2nd and 3rd toe.

I can kind of put pressure on the side of my foot now but still can't walk on it.

How in the world do you wake up with a sprain? Doesn't make sense to me.

I would have thought it was gout too.

Sometimes those docs can get the two mixed up.

I'm going with gout too, given your history of kidney stones.

Seriously, HTF do you wake up with a severely sprained ankle? Do you sleepwalk while dreaming you're Germaine Gresham running upfield for a Sooner first-down? If so, I bet that's hard on the furniture.;)

OK...my foot was hurting yesterday and got worse when I would sit down for awhile. Once I got back to my feet it hurt like a some beach. When I woke up this morning, it was ready for amputation IMO.

At this point...I think I'm going to be able to keep it. :D

I was on crutches for a year when I was 10 years old.

I could go anywhere on those babies.

It's not as much fun now for some reason.

I think crawling might even be easier at times.

Well, to be fair only 6 of the points were from the foot.

The other 4 were from the vaginitis.

;) Get better ST.

I don't think it was a sprain.

I've had trouble with the toe joints since May and I think it has resurfaced.

The vaginitis really takes my mind off the pain. :D
