This is playing out like I was hoping. We win, KU wins, we beat KU (or Missouri again if necessary) Oregon and the rest take hits and we are in New Orleans.

ESPN is talking the "#2 takes a loss again--what a crazy season" story once more. They do not want OU in the championship again because "they had their chance". So the pollsters have picked other teams this year to be their sweetheart and "contend for the national title". For a while it was SC, then South Florida, then Boston College, Cal and on and on. All are proven pretenders. They could have prevented all the "upsets of #2", by simply respecting the Sooners as a quality team. If we continue to win and FINISH, we will be in New Orleans regardless of what the sportswriters say about us or our "weak" conference. As far as strength of conference, it looks pretty strong right now to have KU, OU, and Missouri considered #2, #3, #4 in the nation and Texas sitting somewhere around #10. Golly, gee, what a sucky league.

But how sweet would it be if we did beat LoSerU in Nawlins. They would be happy to see Lester head for Mich. We are OU we can play with anybody anywhere. We now control our own destiny and must stay focused to win out,We will be at Tech tomorrow in sec 107 row 44 seat 17. I'm so excited and life is good when you are a Sooner fan. It is sad though that the rest of my family are OSUx fans, but hey they went to school there to get more comfortable whith swine breeding. If you ever saw cuz's wife you would understand. That is the great thing about OU though is it only takes one short experiance to be a life long fan and feel truly blessed.

well, yeah. especially since they lost Dixon, but then scrapped and almost came back to win. Arizona was pretty flat in the 2nd half
