The vacant lot across the street from my office where students always park usually looks like a used luxury car dealership. Right now there's a Tahoe, a Lexus, and a Land Rover. The lowest-rent vehicle currently there is a large Ford pickup. There are a lot of SUVs and trucks coming and going throughout the day. When I was a student, I sure wouldn't have been driving an SUV with $3/gallon gas. Hell, I wouldn't want to do that now.

they are able to buy those fancy vehicles cause they didn't buy campus parking permits

One time when I lived in the dorms, I lost my car for a week. The kids in highschool in my neighborhood drive cars nicer than their parents. I just don't get it.

You can't buy a Lexus for $222.

EDIT: And I think the Lexus has a Freshman Housing permit. There is nothing lamer than driving to class if you live in the dorms, especially on a day like today.

my sweet '89 GMC Safari mini van I pimped for a while during college made me laugh those fools. I mean, you cant haul 9 people to a bar in a tiny little Lexus.

I dont know, but I can tell you that I wasnt getting any hummers while driving a mini van.

It's not exactly a parking lot, but a grassy vacant lot at the corner of Boyd and Monnett. I don't if you can get in trouble for parking there or not. Lots of people of do it, though.
