I have combined some of the types of formats just to take up less space. Feel free to write-in if you feel like I have missed any major type. This is multiple choice since I know most folks like to station surf.

I know I should have had a classic county choice. :(

We had a jazz formatted station here in OKC for a year or so. One night they were having a give-away for tickets to something. Caller #3 was to win the prize. I was caller #1, #2 & #3. ;)

Heh. Sad but true. :)

WWOZ in New Orleans plays 2 regular 2 or 3 hour jazz/standards shows daily -one on the way to work, one on the way home. Them are good. :twinkies:

They're on the web...

I was sad to see the jazz station that was once on in Oklahoma is no more when we originally lived here in 1999. As a matter of fact, I have yet to find a jazz station at all in OKI like th Sports Animal OK, but the commercials are too frequent for my liking.

If I knew of a radio station with that format I would listen to it.

We listen to the famous "Coyote" out here when we go to sleep at night. It's very relaxing.

No kidding... Depending on the time of day I'm either listening to KNTU out of Denton or KCSM vis iTunes out of the Bay area.
