Mike Singletary to Baylor? Does he have any coaching experience or is this just a dream sequence?

I think the Major at SMU would be a credible hire. If he could manage to go .500 or better it would look like an incredible one and be a good stepping stone to his next stop. The whorn fans think he should one day replace Mack. It would be choice if Oklahoma hired him as an assistant.

The Syracuse job has become a career ender. The Orange are now losing recruits to Rutgers and UConn of all places. They've become the Baylor/Duke/Vanderbilt of the Big Least.

I wish Johnson would take the Arkie job. His W-L record there would look more like aggie than cocaine.

Baylor seems prepared to write Singletary a blank check if he comes to Baylor. That's who most of the fans want, the alumni want, the BOR want, and from what I understand a good portion of the current players.

He's currently the LB's coach for the 49ers.

I think the odds are very very good that he'll be our next coach and that it'll be announced in the next couple of weeks.

I know he's an SEC boy, but dang, can you imagine him going to MU and lighting up the passing game up there in "grind em out football" conference?

Plus, how better to trump Lester. :D
It'd be better than beating him in a ball game.

Can't see that happening for one reason and one reason only:
How would he be able to play golf in the winter and early spring? Plus, Ann Arbor is a long, long way from Augusta National.

Great coach but a loose cannon in my opinion.
Nebbish will likely end up with Gill or another outsider.

A&M looks like a great job on paper, but really, what have they done to warrant being considered a top tier program? It looks like a coaching graveyard to me.

CSU will likely score a good up and coming coach and that will be interesting to see how that turns out.

Baylor is....................Baylor..............who really cares as it won't change anything no matter who coaches them.

Lester will likely go to the Big House and turn it into the Out House. He is a fool if he leaves LSU. But he is a fool anyway!:rolleyes:

There's apparently some talk that Houston is our #1 choice if Singletary declines. His agent has apparently made it known that he's interested in the job.

Anyway, that would be horrifying. I detest Houston Nutt.
