Let's assume we take care of business and really start playing on all cylinders. If you could look into your crystal ball and know that we were going to open up a can of whoop *ss in the BCS championship game who would you want our opponent to be?

For me, it's Oregon. And my dream would be that as soon as we get up 7 - 0 we kick an onside kick and recover it and score again, and kick an onside kick and recover it and score again, over and over and over

It's Groundhog Day for the Ducks!

I want to wait until we are up 43-0 and then kick an on-side kick, prompting Lester to flip off Bob -- and then LSU to force his resignation the following week.

More realistically -- I want the Ducks. I want to play them again, and I want our lead to get out of hand. (NOTE: Everybody hates the replay official for his role in the massive butt-quacking of last season, but it was really the onfield refs who screwed it up so badly. The replay guy's biggest offense was probably his decided lack of leadership and, ahem, mental accuity.)

Not LSU in the superdome. If God is a football fan, he will permit Leslie's Fellows to lose again before the Bowls are assigned!

LSU's pass rush might make our offense look like it did against CU, I'd like our chances against Oregon.

Are you kidding me? LSU would probably give Les a raise for that.

LSU in the Superdome for all the marbles. If you're going to make a statement, it's best to do it against the team nobody thinks you can beat, against the coach nobody thinks you can beat, in the stadium nobody thinks you can win in. I'm not about shying away from the big time. Bring it on, mother****ers, and BOOMER SOONER!

FWIW, LSU in the Superdome would be like a home game for LSU.

LSU, at basically their home stadium.

That would be great.

Besides, most of the fans i met when i went up to Oregon were really nice. The LSU fans SUCK.

It doesn't matter to me, I believe we could beat either of them. I think that a game against LSU might do us more favors in the long run(next season) seeing how the ESPN "gurus" are SEC homers.

If we are going to puss out and run from LSU in the Superdome, then we have no business playing for a MNC.

Well if a bowl game were played in OKC I would have to think that LSU would rather face Oregon than to play us as well.

I mostly just hope we get there but if it is for a NC I would always perfer to not play LSU in New Orleans, the Canes in Miami, USC in LA or Arizona or Ariz St at the Fiesta Bowl. Doesn't mean we shouldn't show up.

Personally I like playing Arizona St in New Orleans in the NC game if that could be arranged.

Oregon hasn't beat us (legitimately) since, hell, I don't know when. We have nothing to prove by beating them.

I'd like to see us beat LSU @ LSU.

I think the point of the thread was, "if you knew you were gonna beat their asses, who would you want to kill?"

I would want to massacre LSU, on their homefield in the superdome.

Not LSU--last time 3/4 of the Super dome were tiger fans--plus the spy on your workouts.

The only players on LSU's roster who were even in attendance back in 2003 were bench-warming, red-shirting n00bs at the time. Saban's gone and :les: already knows he's Bob's bitch. 3/4 filled with Tigers fans to boot, eh-eh... no.

Oregon, OTOH... has many of those players who decided to be asses and brag about their "victory" over us and the Autzen screw job is still fresh in everybody's minds.

We own DD and Co rightfully, so I like OUr chances... I also want to see their tears of unfathomable sadness.

well, in this hypothetical world, let's bring on undefeated Hawaii....or have the football universe twist about in a way in which we get Ohio St.

After going to New Orleans for the MNC game a few years ago and facing all those purple pricks, I'm going for Oregon. I think that's in OUr favor....however I can't think of much I would like better than to beat lsu & lester in New Orleans for all the marbles.

I'll take either one. Seems to me we owe 'em both some payback.

But funnier still would be for neither of them to make it!
