I tweaked my computer except now I have a problem. My background turned to an olive greenish hue and I cant seem to get rid of it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

Right click on the desktop. Select Properties->Appearance.

If it's not something in the display settings, try checking the monitor cable itself. Sometimes if they're not seated all the way, you'll only get one or two colors, leaving everything with a green or blue hue.

:)I un-tweaked it but that didnt work, so I had to go to Plan B. :O


If it's not something in the display settings, try checking the monitor cable itself. Sometimes if they're not seated all the way, you'll only get one or two colors, leaving everything with a green or blue hue.Thanks, that was it, but I think I may have to undo some things I did when I was trying to fix it. :P

When mine did that, it was because one of the pins in the monitor cable was messed up

I've got a red X problem! Can't see the images. Anybody know how to fix it? I'm on a work computer.

I get a few images, but not many. I can barely see anything on the fark board.:(

Wild guess... does your employer block some sites (even if they are relatively benign, like YouTube)?!???

Yes. My employer does. I can get YouTube, but not facebook, myspace, etc.:mad:
