Thanks for posting this and a huge THANK YOU to all who Veterans who have served and to those now serving.

Know one thing there are Navy and Air Force personnel stationed around the world that are very happy with the last two Saturdays when first the Naval Academy beat Notre Dame and then Air Force Academy came to South Bend and finished the job to make Notre Dame 0-2 against the Service Academies.

Heard from some AF people I know that said it was a great way to spend Veterans Day weekend seeing the AF Academy go into South Bend and beat Notre Dame. It is great that six of the AF Academy coaches are graduates of the AF Academy and veterans themselves.

I went to a funeral Friday for a 21-year-old Army Spec. killed Oct. 31 in Mosul, the grandson of a co-worker. I'm in awe of the men and women who don't have to serve but choose to do what their country asks and put themselves in harm's way.

Thank you, vets, current servicemembers, and those who will serve in the future...and their families.

Yep...Those guys deserve all our respect and thanks for doing a job so many of us could never do. I'm a fairly liberal guy, but one thing I'll never do is wish out troops and all who serve our country anything but the best.
