I know I have a bunch of these but its what I do...

we have family here in our chuch that has 4 daughters..10,8,6, and 3. A good family with great kids...anyway I got a call at 7 from the mom to hurry to the hospital because a horse had rared up with the 6 year old on it and flipped over backwards. the dad dove under the horse to try and take the brunt of the weight but the saddle horn crushed the girls chest...The mom called me right back saying the girl had passed. its been a long 3 hours of crying, hugging, and just being around so people could have someone to talk to. I just cant imagine....the other 3 girls were not going to leave the hospital without their sister..They went home so I did the same

please pray for this family...and if you have anything left pray for me...emotionally spent....another crappin funeral where I ll have to stand there and say I dont know why

That is tragic and my prayers sent their way. They are lucky to have someone like you to lean on. You will have the strength to give them support.

The loss of a child is heartwrenching. My heart goes out to them. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

They are very lucky to have had someone there to lean on during this very difficult time. Sometimes a hug does so much more than words can ever express. God Bless you for being there for them.

May God cradle this family with love and heal their hearts as only He can. I pray for strength for them, and for you too. May God heal your heart as well, and give you wisdom to help everyone affected by this, yourself as well.

It will be a blessing indeed when the sadnesses of this world are in the past and exist no more. Until then, something like this just stinks and makes no sense.

Hugs.

Hey guys..thanks a lot...the time with the kids went really well considering..I did not realize my 6 year old niece was in the same class...It sounds like they were running buddies around the playground and she was taking it pretty hard. I mostly sat and listened as the kids talked about how they felt and some pretty difficult questions to tackle which mostly consisted of "Why?" and "Will we see her again?" "Are their horses in Heaven?" and other things.

One student asked if she could pray for Carson and I said of course..She asked God to take care of her and make sure the horses were calm..

The cool thing that happened was I asked them what Carson's favorite game was on the playground and some of the girls said "she loves red rover."

So I asked the principal if I could take the entire 1st grade out for a big game of red rover for Carson. He said yes and we took the whole grade outside to play.Maybe one of the most surreal moments in my life. And the biggest red rover game i ve ever seen. One by one they ran until the last one and my niece said "We want Carson to run over." By this time a crowd of parents and teachers were watching and it was just an emotional time for everyone. So the whole class yelled "red rover, red rover, let Carson run over." And they pretended like she was running through their arms as most of them all let go at the same time. They cheered and clapped. and I got down on one knee and one by one they lined up and I received about 80 hugs. Most actually left with a smile on their face...
