Why would they make it so hard to insert an image into a signature? I hate it.

yeah, it's just not really easy and for some reason when I write it into the html of the source for the e-mail template I'm getting a red X. I would think that enough people would want to do it that you wouldn't have to mess with html.

Also, I think I'm using Outlook 2003, so that probably has something to do with it.

just go to the advanced editor and do it through word, especially since MS likes to jack up html

Use the insert image from the right-click menu from an image on your local computer instead of trying to copy/paste the image. That always worked for me.

I don't think you have that option in the automatic sig portion of the 2003 outlook.
