View Full Version : Calahan snobs off Osborne..

Didn't see this posted, but thought it was a funny looking situation on video.
I heard this on the "sports animal" today (between the standard 5 billion advertising breaks). After the KU game, Osborne was approaching calahan to shake hands or say hi..or whatever, and calahan just walks on past him. Here's a link to the youtube copy of it. What an effin hillbilly wannabe

I'd love to see Dr. Tom just grab him by the shoulder after something like that, get his attention (with maybe a smack upside the head) and give him the boot then and there.

I have never been and will never be a Nebraska fan, but under Osborne, at least they were honorable foes.

Callahan is now referring to Tom as his "supervisor." That cracks me up, who the hell calls his boss "supervisor." You're not 4 years old Bill, you only coach like it.

Oh yeah, and he also said Tom was a "word of his man" last week. Yes, I spelled that right.

Can you imagine Stoops snubbing Switzer? Jeebus. Callahan knows nothing about the rich tradition and the proud dynasty that is Nebraska football, and he's tarnishing its very foundation by his nasty presence.

Callahan is trash, and unless the Nebraska faithful start taking him out to the curb to rot, far away from their program, he's going to infect the entire university. I hurt for them.

Please, Mr. Osborne, restore our esteemed rival to its former honor...have Callahan removed ASAP. He's wiping his arse with your beloved Huskers. Flush him.

Mmmmn humble pie. Now NU fans know how we felt in the 90's. I hope that he gets an extension on his contract but if I were Dr. Tom... he would have been gone after the oSu debacle.

I don't feel sorry for NU fans or there fan base one bit.

I bet that Bo is looking pretty good right now.

From day one I knew this was a bad move. This guy is pure S***.

He doesnt even deserve to wipe Tom's ***.

Nebraska is headed down that dark road we traveled in the 90's.

I hope they dont fall as hard as we did.

I hope they dont fall as hard as we did.

I do. And if they lose out, they'll almost be there.

They still are insufferably arrogant and condescending. I can already hear it, "We'll never fall as far as Oklahoma did, because we've always done it the right way and not under the table like OU. We just won't let it happen."

And again, they are no more classy than any other fan base in America. And it is showing up now with empty second half stands. It will be fun to see if that carries over to empty first half stands this week against K-State.

I was at classy ol' Dr. Tom's last OU-Nebraska game in Lincoln (7-69) and, trust me, it is now our turn to absolutely s**t-stomp them. Then we can tell them how sorry we are for them that their program has fallen on hard times...while sporting mile-wide grins. Just like they did.

Yeah I heard the Defensive coordinator, and I use that term loosely, was in on that snubbing too.

Don t forget this is the same guy who said about his NFL team in a presser "We must be the dumbest team in America."

"Dr." Tom - 4 and 13 against Switzer. Only after Switzer left did "Dr." Tom start to win his bowl games and compete at the MNC level.

F Nebraska. How many times did they put 70 on teams. They deserve, and have earned, their fate.

Bye bye Bill! Hello Bo Pelini???

rumormill has Pelini the front runner for the Arkansas job should they decide to finally get rid of Houston Nutt. Popular sentiment has Turner Gill coming back to the land of Corn from Buffalo.

I think the media is reading more into the popular sentiment then is actually there. I don't think there is that much real desire to have Gill as the Head Coach on the part of the fan base. It easy to look at the connections, and think Gill is the favorite, but I don't think he actually is.

Dontcha know son, if you can win 3-5 games at Buffalo, you can win anywhere! ;)

i don't believe it's an automatic deal that Dr. TO is gonna "fix it".

i think Nebraska fan is sucking way too hard at the teat of the past.

it's natural after they've FINALLY realized Callahan was a boob.

the future is uncertain and the end is always near..

F Nebraska. How many times did they put 70 on teams. They deserve, and have earned, their fate. What they deserve is another 5-6 years minimum of losing seasons, including some embarrassing SHELLACKINGS, preferably by the Sooners!
