Dell technical support is teh suc X100000000000000! I dread having to call them. You wait on hold for a hour only to finally get a rep that barely speaks English helping you. Thankfully last time I had to call he did this cool thing where he took over my computer and did the fixes himself. I just sat there and watched the screen to make sure he didn't start looking at porn.

well, this was server support. they were all native English speakers :D

the UPS guy just called me to deliver the drives i needed. Dell did pretty well this time...

I had to sign into a specific website with a bunch of different numbers and passwords first. And I watched the whole time. I could see every page that came up and could even see his cursor move. Plus I had to give permission each time he made a change to my computer. If I wanted to too I could take control back at any time by just moving my mouse. I'll take that over trying do it all myself all while being guided by a person who only speaks partial English coupled with a very thick accent. And oddly enough is usually named Jim or Ted. :confused:

I've let our IT department take over my computer once or twice and I didn't like it at all.

My husband takes over my laptop from his work computer sometimes. I think he's too controlling. :p
