He'd be a lot cooler if his car looked like this one...

What happened to the belief that the color green on race cars was bad luck and to be avoided at all costs?

I have always loved Gran Prix Racing.

I'll never understand why we don't participate in the US.

Austin would be a great City to make into a race track.

because turning right would be frowned upon.

also- at least he still has an 8 so that idiots with #8 tattoos can just go get them modified.

I think my love for Grand Prix racing was mostly my Father's doing...that and when he took me to see Steve McQueen in Lemans.

I love that movie...

Oh man, me too. I think there are about 5 words of dialogue and the rest is just racing. That and Grand Prix with James Garner are two of my favorite movies.

Whew! The thread title gave me visions of Jr. wearing a pink puffy blousy shirt......

dunno what's worse - that paint scheme or the ugly COT body style.. Mountain Dew coulda done better....

Is there a commercial yet that has Dale Jr. saying "DEW ME!" yet?

It's mainly Amp. Mountain Dew is secondary.

The National Guard car looks nicer, I think. it's blue and white.

I didn't like when Sr went from the Wrangler to the Goodwrench either but learned to.

How did Gordon do in his Nicorette cars this year? There was a lot of green on those cars...

Blame Darrell Waltrip, Jr stated one of the influences for his designing the cars graphics and number was DW's old Gatorade car.
