the footage involving the extraction is not for the squeamish.

Good for Sgt. Powers, and good for the fantastic trauma teams in Iraq. I expect an unintended beneficial side effect of the war is substantial advancement of the art and science of emergency medicine.

Can you imagine the face of the guy who stabbed him...watching the soldier, in no apparent pain, with a knife sticking out of his head, calming aiming his gun at you?

I bet he was a bit freaked. :)
