No supper for me; that will be an evening of nausea unless we're up by 5 TDs with less than 4 minutes to go. :(

Good Lord, that game scares me. We actually gave up decent passing yards to aTm. I'll take a 49-48 win right freaking now.

Quit thinking about TTech. You need to be thinking about Baylor, and only Baylor.

If fans get ahead of themselves, the team will loose focus and we will loose.

You need to edit this thead or it will be all your fault if we don't play in the MNC Sugar Bowl game.

Noob.

I do like the way they have had their asses completely shut down twice this season, including once at home.

Iowa State v KU is the 2:30 game? Are you freakin' kidding me?

We gave up decent passing yards to A&M when we were up 35-0. Over half of A&M's total yards came when we had a 35 point lead.

I know we need publicity and a prime time game is the best way to accomplish that. However, I was hoping we would slide under the radar for that game. Sorta like Colorado did last week. Tech and its classless fans will be revved up for that game at night. We'll need to play well to win.

Corrected it for ya.:D

I was planning on going but a 7:00 kickoff kills the deal for me.

Tech is terrible. All we need to do is make sure we catch the interceptions and avoid turning the ball over ourselves.

We will be ok, Colorado beat them at home, we will beat them at home. DBs need to be at their best though. Interception Heaven!

Doesn't matter that they are terrible. This is their Super Bowl, and will play by far their best game of the year, just like in '05. I'm guessing they'll give us all we want.

The only thing worse than a sand aggie is a sand aggie that has been drinking all day.

I'll probably get stuck with a Big Ten vs. Hoosier Crossroads Conference (conference my HS is in) Matchup on ABC.

According to the link, no other games will be shown by ABC at that time. Looks to be a national game.

Trust me this will be oklahoma's best performance by far. The games at colo and Iowa state were early with no fanfare, but everyone will be picking Tech and it will only **** us off this game.

This weeks game means much more to them, I know that very well. A Tech wife and two Tech co-workers let me know that beating the whorns is the No. 1 priority for them. Almost to the point that they could go 1-11 as long as they win that game.

It was alluded to earlier, but Tech has no run attack, they must pass to stay with us. I suspect that this game is where our defensive backs justify their preseason hype and pull down many, many ints.

At least that's a scenario I'll be happy to drink to.

After watching Missouri put the hurt on them. I can say that this should be an easy win for OU. I hope the players keep that emotion. Oh and what did that announcer on T.V. say the other night?

"You can't play QB any better than this." He was talking about Sammy!

I really hope this doesn't end up like the 2001 Bed-dumb game did. The fightin' Leaches are MILES better than that team... and it seems that a night game is the perfect storm in Stoolwater South Stadium.

You can't go by the results of one game. Missouri also beat Colorado 55-10 in Boulder.

If you look at OU and TT's common opponents, OU has averaged about 9 points better than TT on a neutral field.

OU has a history of not playing well in Boulder and Missouri they play CU every year. Just like we play TT every year. :D Again though I really believe that this team has hit the turning point that Stoops has been talking about.

There will be a collective 100 pass attempts in this game. TT will account for 80 of those.

I'm very okay with playing them at night in a national game.

They've lost some of their luster with the losses to MU and CU, but if we show up and play how we can, we should smoke them.

CU and MU played them the same way we always do. And when it takes the refs for TT to beat the worst team OU has had under Bob Stoops at home, you have to like this year's chances to beat them well.

It will be a regional game. If you look at that link, the two ESPN channels are to chose between two games. The one's they don't pick will be ABC regional games.

How I love the prime-time night games :D ! Yes, I do believe also that it gives Tech a slight pyshco advantage, but if our offense is offensive as it can be, then we will easily outscore them. But, Baylor first!

I really think your right. We know we have to play well on the road this time. The team I think has finally made adjustments and turned that corner. Isn't it after the bye week last year that OU really turned up the play?

Crucifax Autumn

I think so. Besides...The guys know they can't let up for even a second in this one and regardless of what the coaching types around here think the players and coaches ARE aware of the fact that we have a good shot at the championship game if we win out and particularly if we demolish this particular team.
