I'm looking foprward to it. It seems there is always something eventful when we play in Lubbock. Those folks aren't as bat poo crazy as K-State Fans but they keep trying.
I think we all still remember the screw job the Refs gave us a few years ago there. I know I'll never forget.
I'll always remember my Trip there in 2001 when we beat them 30-13.
I hungout after the game and met Bob, Mike and Carol Stoops. I still have the OU Helmet Bob and Mike signed for me. Bob had this smile that day that just left you feeling that he has staying at OU for a long long time.
Anyway...one of the things I will always remember is that they were very anal about getting those goalposts down about the same time the clock hit 0:00. I found this picture of the posts coming down today and wondered if it was the last time they had to replace them.
Anyone know? This was October 3rd, 1999.
