Bob Stoops just confirmed on the Post Game show that Auston English has a hair-line fracture of the non-weight bearing bone in his lower right leg/ankle. Says it is very similar to what Rocky Calmus had and played on and probably less severe than Rocky's injury.

WOW, that's very forthcoming from Bob.

I guess we'll find out just how tough Auston is. Hope he has a high pain tolerance level.

Injury in the middle of a break out season....dammit. English has been a helluva player for OU this year, hope he's back soon.

He'll sit out a game and come back strong. A fracture of a non-weight bearing bone hurts but doesn't impair a player too much.

Lot of intangibles in that kind of injury, but it could have been a lot worse. Good thoughts and drink lots of milk....
