I started a thread on here about three weeks ago with the title: "more Jermaine Gresham." Well, I'm here now to claim credit for that brilliant idea. Obviously the Sooner staff was paying attention. :D

yeah.

I suggested less turnovers.

Looks like they liked that idea too.

There was this one time that I suggested tackling the opposing team and they jumped on that idea like a duck on a junebug.

I'm still in shock that we're using our TEs as much as we are.

Same here, but isn't it great? There's just too much talent there not to use it....and Demarco lined up at QB running the zone read with Brown or Patrick. I think that has lots of potential if we'll keep using it.

Feels good to not have any real gripes after this game. :D

Funny thing is that the next week or 2 they will be watching him close on that formation and we'll go to the other 2!

...that, and maybe they'll focus more on all OUr TE's, and that'll open things up more for our receivers, and that in turn might open up OUr running game more. Oh the glory of actually using the weapons at OUr disposal. :D

Great, so let them do it, with double coverage even. It's going to take one HELL of a defensive scheme to keep Gresham from being successful inside the 10 - 15. That kid is an absolute stud.

I suggested WINNING!!!! They liked my idea better than your less turnover and more Gresham ideas. ;)

Hey, we even got Duke Robinson in on some receiving action yesterday. I've been saying we needed to get him involved all year. Glad they finally listened. ;)

Players can be added to national award watch lists, right? On the John Mackey Award (http://www.johnmackeyaward.org/) website, Brody Eldridge is the only TE we have on that list (which was released back in the summer). But over the last 4 games, Gresham has 14 receptions for 196 yards and 7 TDs. He's certainly earned a spot on that list.

It seems to vary from award to award. Most of them don't change much from the initial preseason watch list to the semifinalists to the finalists.
