it is sooooo pathetic, but then again, texas lost to kansas state home and therefore, according to aggie logic, as ksu loses to isu today...

Worse than everyone except pathetic Iowa > Iowa State > Kansas State > Texas

Texas is therefore, worse than everyone except pathetic Iowa :D

Now... WHY again is it wrong for texas players to jump the border when it's premiere state institution is too stupid to recruit them in-state?

I'm miserable. That loss today killed me. However, the one thing that is keeping me from losing it is that we CAN STILL WIN THE SOUTH!!!!!
If we play like we did in the 1st half and sustain the energy and focus for an entire game, we can beat Kansas and OU. Texas could easily lose to ATM and Tech. We win out and Texas loses just one of those games and we are the South champs (supposing ATM loses tonight to OU).

...we can beat Kansas and OU...HANG IN THERE GUYS, WE STILL GOT A SHOT!!!!!!![/B]
Oh dear, how soon they forget the forgettable games of Troy and Georgia.

By aggie logic, we've already won because we've beaten the teams that have beat them (saxet and aTm) and thus, the moral victory is sealed up a month before the game's even played.

For those of you unfamiliar with "aggie logic," such notable examples include declaring that osu is the true "rose bowl champion" because they beat OU before OU went to the Rose Bowl. Oh... and they're also going to contend for the national championship because Bob Stoops did it in his second year and they have a young, inexperienced coach, too. Oh, and because they nearly beat OU during our national championship runs recently, they also deserve to be in the national championship game.

You see, "aggie logic" is a virus. It plagues one mind, then it spreads to like minds, but alas, the virus cannot stay in one area, it must seep into other areas and claim victims it does not infect nor deserve.

As Sooners, we are immune to this virus of "aggie logic." We will not wear aTm, Troy, or Georgia shirts simply because they beat OSU (but you can be darn sure they will come en masses in Colorado gear... oh, and Boise State too). You won't see Sooner fans (or coaches) yelling about being 40-year-old men, except in jest, but they're already put that on orange t-shirts in Stillwater. You won't catch Sooner fans talking about games years ago where they nearly won or actually did pull off a victory, or students camping on the sidelines, just waiting to rush the field. However, you would be hard pressed to find a Poke that didn't remember the score to the 2001 or 2002 game... which they also put on t-shirts... and rushed our field in 2001 and their own in 2002, complete with goalposts tumbling down. Zzzzzzzz.

Embarrasses me to be involved in their "rivalry." Their program is pure garbage and anyone that donates to it in millions is garbage. Makes me wanna puke [hairGel]

I watched the game with a fellow Poke who was up for the marathon, along with his wife and my girlfriend, who also ran. The 21-0 lead made us nervous. We were still nervous at 35-14. My girlfriend went to Wellesley undergrad, and her understanding of college football comes from attending a few Harvard-Yale games (though she did live for a time in Ohio where she knew a girl named Scarlet Ann Grey). While sympathetic, she didn't quite understand our anguish as we watched the lead dissipate. And she didn't quite understan why the "it's only a game" comment really didn't help when we lost.
