Heh. . .
Here's how to get your *** kicked pretty much anywhere:

http://bp2.blogger.com/_8KVGEZEUltI/Rw-Ml-2S0pI/AAAAAAAAAVk/HIddxi8gqUA/s320/77-19.jpg (http://bp2.blogger.com/_8KVGEZEUltI/Rw-Ml-2S0pI/AAAAAAAAAVk/HIddxi8gqUA/s1600-h/77-19.jpg)

I'll bet these guys do ok with the ladies. If you look at that picture quickly, it looks like Mr. Bob "No-pants" Saget has his hand in the other guy's pocket. In this case, he doesn't, although you can tell just by looking at them that it's happened - or if it hasn't happened it will. Oh yes. It will. As soon as he puts down his color-coordinated coffee cup.

You can make fun of those clothes all you want, but a few things are clear:

We knew how to pull our pants up.
We tucked a shirt, or didn't.
Flip flops were for the beach.
We only wore ski caps when it was cold.

That could be one of my little brothers.
Whoever wrote that obviously wasn't around or paying attention, or else he wouldn't have been so harsh on that TOTALLY GROOVY stuff.
I hope I live to see something like that about the 00s. :D

Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.

Actually it's because I posted an article link that had already been talked about earlier, yet it had a totally different thread title that didn't indicate it was about that topic.

I have a theory why those fab mens fashions went away.

Besides the fact they were ugly, the fit of the clothes just won't work now. See, we've become a nation of lard-a$$es and thus, we go about untucked, and comparitively disheveled. We like our "loose fit" pants and shorts because our flab won't comfortably fit into anything else.

If men had to wear closely tailored tucked shirts and close fitting pants, a great many of us would be very embarrassed.

Yet another '77 grad here (Miami High School --- Go Wardogs!). The only thing missing from the pictures is a brown leisure suit with yellow stitching. Also, a nice close up of the stacked-heel shoes would have been nice -- I liked being six foot three while those shoes were in style.
