Did ABC or Espn come out with this weeks coverage map yet. I couldn't find it and live in PA. I would like to know if the game is going to be on in my area or if I will be stuck watching BC and Florida St. instead.

I think it usually comes out on Wed.

I was just in PA this past weekend. Nice weekend (sorta weatherwise) in the Poconos.

At least BC is better than watching the usual Penn St. and other big 10 propaganda shoved down my throat every week.

I'm glad for the primetime exposure (*ahem* as long as we win handily), but there are better games on the slate than either aTm at OU or FSU at BC. I would have thought Meatchicken at Meatchicken State would be a better primetime fodder, as would Whisky @ Ohio State.

Actually, even that orange on orange crime thing that is going to happen in Stoolwater on paper looks to be a more entertaining matchup.

Though I'm quite pleased neither of them is getting the exposure....

Watching FSU beat BC might not be to bad of a game to watch.

Ok...none of these links or the ABC/ESPN sites are telling me what I need to know.

Is the game gonna be available on COX in Vegas? Or do I have to buy a one time Gameplan game? Kinda a screw job, but I also have been seeing a sign at PTs Pub right down the street saying "home of the Sooners". Gonna have to call and see what's going on with that since I'd have to spend the same on Gameplan as I'd spend on beer there.

Aw hell. Here in California we're gonna get USC and Oregon State. Double hell. Now 2/3 of the country won't get to OU/aTm. Getting a game on ABC is worse than Fox or ESPN or even Versus. It was a split, now it gone to a one-third. When the ABC coverage map comes out they'll probably only have the states of Oklahoma and Texas in the OU/aTm coverage area. This PPV regional coverage deal with ABC getting 1st grab to hold the games, then using their 6 day crap to freeze Fox out is the suk. I'd honestly rather see our game on Fox or Espn, Espn2 than ABC. Some investigative reporter needs to see if the Universities get more bucks from a Fox National Feed or a 1/3 ABC regional feed. I didn't mind a split feed with FSU/BC since aTm lost to KU, but now ABC throwing SUC into the mix just flat blows. Plus ABC will be blowing SUC with constant TV updates. Fox needs to deal their over-the-air Fox stations into the college football afternoon and night primetime mix with the NCAA and compete head-on with ABC broadcast coverage. We'd better get some quality ABC announcers and not their 3rd string ESPN cast-off constant yappers.

If you can't find an OU game at home or at a sports bar, you might be retarded. Hey, I've got a 1 big HD monitor and 3 sub-monitors plus my Laptop monitor if I need it for a 5th game on different channels going every Saturday. This next Saturday deal flat stinks of sucking CFB fans in this gameplan PPV crap so they get their money up-front and viewers can't change channels away from ABC to another close game without paying through the nose for gameplan. This just tells me that ABC is getting their ratings azz kicked because their CFB programmers don't have a clue what they're doing and locking up a bunch of games regionally CTA at the last minute. ABC broadcasted aTm/Tech--real goldmine (aTm always gets their azz kicked in Lubbock, Tech/Missouri--another azz kicking, then they got lucky with UT/UNL (who woulda thought), then Ohio State/Penn State turned out to be a more-than-likely ratings loser because it wasn't close. ABC has figured out that fans switch to a possible upset and they're stacking the deck so they get it, or better said--so CFB fans can't get a hot game without paying them up front. (ABC has locked up 7 games regionally this week, 4 in the afternoon and 3 at night). I bet ABC has been crying to the NCAA TV committee for the last month and I hope OU blows out aTm, FSU blows out BC and Oregon State blows out USC, just because I don't like USC (if I had to guess, I think ABC plugged this one in to the primetime mix to cover themselves because of Stanford playing USC tough at home--with the OSU D, I don't know about this one--But they're certainly covering themselves for "a switch to a better game") and CU/Mizzou on Fox be a triple OT nailbiter just to stick up ABC's 6-day-option azz.
Honestly, no way ABC should've locked up aTm/OU, considering aTm history in Norman (But who knows, look at UT/UNL, If anything ABC needs to pirate Fox's CFB programming staff). I don't give a damn about gameplan because I could care less about the other games besides OU. If I was out of the Big 12 viewing area, then I probably would get it, or explore alternative means to get it. :D or get the stream and listen to BBsr while watching other games. I've found out when I can't get an OU game on TV, I don't go into convulsions and explode. It's kind of refreshing sometimes.

I would say no. Either Oregone or Az is going to win the pac 10. Oklahoma or Kansas will win the big 12.

ABC either needs to put this in HD or give it to FSN or someone else. I would rather listen to dumb sports guys talk about another team the whole game than not getting to watch in HD.

As far as HD goes....probably depends on where equipment is and how it gets moved around. It's easy to forget the logistical side of this thing from time to time. ABC may not have HD equipment available in time to get it to Norman. Just a guess, anyway.

Somebody was wondering earlier about Ohio State/Wisconsin. That one's locked up by the Big Ten network. Michigan/M. State will be on ABC, though.

Arizona State vs. Oregon will be on ESPN, except in AZ, NM, OR and S. California, which will get Fox. Only the state of Arizona will get it in HD, too.

WTF, why no HD? That is just stupid.

If you are not in the "coverage area" you have to get the game via ESPN Gameplan or from local networks in an area which is getting the game. Either way, not HD, and in most instances the picture quality is abysmal with Gameplan.

If you are not in the "coverage area" you have to get the game via ESPN Gameplan or from local networks in an area which is getting the game. Either way, not HD, and in most instances the picture quality is abysmal with Gameplan. Unless you're a Michigan/MSU fan in the USF/Cincy area or Cincy/USF fan in the UM/MSU coverage area. at., Nov. 3
Cincinnati at South Florida 3:30 p.m. ABC (and reverse mirror on ESPN)
Sat., Nov. 3 Michigan at Michigan State 3:30 p.m. ABC (and reverse mirror on ESPN) Why does ABC throw them a free gameplan bone? If they can reverse mirror these ABC games regionally on ESPN why can't they do the same for Poke/UT and UCLA/UA fans out west? It's because ABC is competing with CBS in the southeast and USF/cincy isn't a draw, not to mention the Big 10 network which they're trying to keep down. It doesn't make any difference to us, but it would to Sooner in Cali if OU/aTm was in the afternoon ABC time slot. ESPN magically picked up the ASU/UO game then they had to throw USuc/OSU a bone so they divided our half of nationwide nightly split coverage. ABC/ESPN love locking all these games up regionally so they can charge CFB fans through the nose for gameplan, yet when there's some competition they mirror a freeby back east. ABC really doesn't care about programming the best games anymore, their deal is to lock up games where they can get the biggest PPV/gameplan draw. I hope the Big 12 conference got a ""Flat rate for the OU/aTm game and not some complicated formula just based on the ratings, because if that UO/ASU game turns out to be a quality game, all the CFB fans except for those from the 6 schools playing in the "" supposed ABC primetime slot will be turned to ESPN. sux. BTW, I heard Herbie whining on ESPN that he couldn't believe that the ASU/UO wasn't going to be shown nationally and Gameday was going to be at the UO. Last I saw was that Fox NW and some Fox station in AZ had this game. I guess when ABC/ESPN pull a programming disaster they can deal their way out.

I just have to decide what's the better deal if I don't get the game in my coverage area...gameplan for a day or the bar for a game. Bar I have to suffer the loss of cash on the spot, Gameplan I can just consider it "another bill" next month.

Buyer beware with Game Plan through Comcast in the ATL. We missed this years RRS because in our area ABC showed the compelling matchup of ... I think ... NC State vs FSU. We bought Game Plan for the week but there was allegedly a problem with the feed. The wife, who is the OU alum (I'm a former UCO Broncho), called continuously until she got past the recording to a live body who finally admitted it would/could not be broadcast and agreed to refund us our $$$. A sports bar was an option but we probably would have been relegated to the smallest screen in a corner of the joint while the unwashed masses watched TN vs. UGA (which was by the way broadcast on 2 channels here).

Yep...That's me at the stardust with 2 hot showgirls during the last car show there before they imploded it. Of course...There I am in the Sooner cap I retired after the fiasco in the Fiesta, but Sooners and babes is a great combination!

As for the bar-PPV thing, I'm now doing the PPV. Despite my wife's money concerns. The bar is a deal where each PT's in town picked a team and when this one got the Sooners they tried to hook up with the Alumni group here and they already had another bar booked on the opposite side of town. According to the manager they are hoping to work something out for next year where all the Sooners will be in one place, but for now the crowd is split between 2 places. PT's is 3 blocks from my place so if they all get it together next year I'll be there weekly, but for now I'm gonna stick to home mainly so the wife can work on editing photo shoots for my job while I watch the game and train my 14 month old son to be a Sooner. Luckily, this is Nevada and the bar is a restaurant/bar, so next year I'll take him with me and let my wife and daughter stay here watching Oxygen or Lifetime or some other BS while me and the boy work up some sports bar mojo for OU.

By then, if he's as much like me as he's shown so far, he'll be the biggest fan there!

I've actually tried that, and believe it or not, sometimes it's not rolling on ascreen, even when we're THE team. Granted, it usually works, but not always. You have a billion monitors, but half seem to be playing the same game, and many of the others are showing different sports this time of year. It's a crap shoot and there's also the dealing with the big crowd, catching **** if you aren't gambling, etc.

I prefer to watch with fellow fans, rival friends, or at home where I can be as big a jackass as I want!
